OUR HERITAGE • SIALKOT WORKSHOP
Founded in 1994 in Sialkot, Pakistan, Sulehri Industries has developed into a premier artisan workshop and international exporter of high-grade leather creations. Led by Master Artisan Haroon Sarwar Sulehri, our workshop operates under a strict philosophy: we create future heirloom artifacts engineered to endure generations rather than disposable trends.
All our leathers are sourced from certified Gold-rated Leather Working Group (LWG) byproducts. We reject harsh synthetic tanning chemicals and toxic chromium baths. Instead, our hides steep in natural vegetable extracts of chestnut and mimosa bark for up to sixty days, yielding an organic hide that develops a distinguished caramel patina with use.
Every load-bearing seam is hand saddle-stitched using twin needles and beeswax-braided French linen thread. Unlike commercial machine lockstitches that unravel completely when a single thread snaps, the hand saddle stitch forms two independent interlocking lines through each hand-pierced diamond hole.
We back our benchwork with the Sulehri Lifetime Stitching Guarantee: if any structural seam, brass rivet, or leather edge unbinds under normal conditions, our Sialkot atelier will repair or restore it free of charge.

ATELIER CHRONICLES
Why SULEHRI steeps steerhides inside natural chestnut and mimosa bark broths for up to sixty days rather than using rapid synthetic chrome-tanning acids.
An engineering dissection into the failure points of commercial sewing machines compared to the biological interlocking strength of dual-needle hand saddle stitching.
How to properly hydrate and protect full-grain vegetable leather utilizing natural local beeswax, filtered tallow, and cold-pressed oils without pore-clogging chemicals.
TRANSPARENCY FIRST
Full-grain leather uses the topmost organic layer of the hide, keeping the original dense fibers intact for lifetime durability. We do not sand down or imprint synthetic plastic textures over our hides. Therefore, you may notice tiny natural marks such as fine scars, insect marks, or soft neck-wrinkles, which are authentic hallmarks of premium organic leather.
All SULEHRI creations include completely complimentary monogramming. When choosing an item, you can select your desired initials up to three letters and specify your foil finish in Blind, Gold, or Silver. Our master leather crafters hand-align vintage lead fonts and press them directly into the leather grain.
Avoid synthetic chemical sprays, alcohol cleaners, and direct high-temperature heat sources. We recommend wiping your leather clean with a soft dry microfiber cloth and massaging a light dab of natural beeswax or tallow dressing into the fibers once every six months to keep the skin hydrated and protected.
We design and engineer our leather goods to last a lifetime under regular use. Our guarantee covers any split structural stitching, unraveled waxed linen threads, or broken solid brass hardware rivets. If any seam breaks under standard conditions, send the item back to our atelier and we will restore it free of charge.
All Sulehri leather goods are handcrafted in our heritage atelier located in Sialkot, Pakistan, a globally renowned epicenter of master leatherwork. We ethically source prime full-grain cattle and buffalo hides and tan them using sustainable organic vegetable extracts.
Yes, as an established manufacturer and certified global exporter, we partner with international fashion labels, corporate clients, and boutique retailers. We handle bespoke OEM/ODM manufacturing, private label branding, and ship worldwide with fully insured express logistics.
